Founded by brothers Nick and Mike Ahmed in 2022, 7 Pillar Health and Performance is a virtual, content-based education system that teaches people how to live healthier and more successful lives. Nick and Mike have spent their own lives and the entirety of their professional careers striving for optimal health and performance, and they are both extremely passionate and committed to helping others maximize their own potential.
Nick has been the starting shortstop for the Arizona Diamondbacks since 2014. He played college baseball at the University of Connecticut for three years and was subsequently drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2011. In January of 2013 he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks and made his MLB debut in June of 2014. Throughout his career, he has been able to overcome significant injury and adversity to win 2 Rawlings Gold Glove Awards in 2018 and 2019. Nick’s status as a high-level professional athlete has allowed him to gain access to some of the brightest minds in the health and performance fields.
Mike played college baseball at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA for three years. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013 and played six years in their minor league system playing all the way up to AAA. He spent one year in the Seattle Mariners organization and one year with the Arizona Diamondbacks before transitioning to professional coaching with the Seattle Mariners in 2021. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies (psychology, sport management, and health sciences) from Liberty university in March of 2022. In June of 2023, he became a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach (CTNC) and a Certified Digestive Health Specialist through the Institute of Transformational Nutrition and has been the health and performance coach for his brother Nick for the past two years.
